CSMS # 65475228 - GUIDANCE: 2025 United Kingdom Automobile Tariff Rate Quota U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 06/27/2025 04:37 PM EDT Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS # 65475228 - GUIDANCE: 2025 United Kingdom Automobile Tariff Rate Quota Please refer to Quota Bulletin QB 25-508 2025 United Kingdom Automobile Tariff Rate Quota ( CBP.gov/Trade/Quota/Bulletins ), which addresses quantity thresholds for the June 30, 2025, through December 31, 2025 period. On June 16, 2025, the President signed Executive Order 14309 “Implementing the General Terms of the United States of America – United Kingdom Economic Prosperity Deal” establishing an annual tariff rate quota effective June 30, 2025, for automobiles that are products of the United Kingdom subject to Section 232 duties imposed by Proclamation 10908. Please see 90 FR 26419 for additional information. Pursuant to Executive Order 14309, the tariff rate quota period for 2025 is June 30 through December 31, 2025. The 2025 quota quantity, based on the US-UK Economic Prosperity Deal operative date of May 8, 2025, is 65,205 automobiles. For 2026, and annually thereafter, the tariff rate quota will be subject to an annual aggregate limitation of 100,000 automobiles and will be administered quarterly according to the annex published in the Federal Register.
