The proposed will require Electronic Export Manifest (EEM) for outbound rail cargo. The rail EEM rule will enhance visibility of outbound rail cargo by requiring all outbound rail manifest be submitted to CBP prior to departure from the United States to foreign. Members of the public have until March 14, 2025, to comment on the proposed rule. Individuals wishing to comment on the proposed rule may access the Federal e-Rulemaking Portal at www.regulations.gov and follow the instructions for submitting comments.
