CSMS # 61875592 - Announcement of Centralized Examination Station Application Period and Selection Process for the Port of Miami International Airport U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 08/23/2024 12:04 PM EDT Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS # 61875592 - Announcement of Centralized Examination Station Application Period and Selection Process for the Port of Miami International Airport This Information Bulletin is issued to announce the solicitation for applications to operate a Centralized Examination Station (CES) for Miami International Airport , to ensure U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) compliance with Title 19, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 118 (19 C.F.R. §118.2). The solicitation period commences August 20, 2024, and expires on October 19, 2024. The initial phase of the selection process will consist of a 60-day application period, or "open season." Applications to operate a CES must be received by close of business on October 19, 2024 . Applicants should review the attached document for more information about the requirements to operate a CES and the application process. Public comments are also invited as specified in 19 C.F.R. § 118.2 and must be received by 5:00 P.M. on September 19, 2024.
