CSMS # 61852522 - UPDATE: DIS Enhancements for Vehicle Document Submission Set to Deploy September 28 U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 08/19/2024 03:29 PM EDT Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS # 61852522 - UPDATE: DIS Enhancements for Vehicle Document Submission Set to Deploy September 28 On September 28, 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will deploy enhancements to the Document Image System (DIS) to facilitate export vehicle-related document submission via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Following this deployment, CBP will send new messaging if the following conditions are met: Document Label Code = Vehicle_Title_Certificates Transaction Type = ITN No VIN or PIN is provided For more information on this enhancement, review the DIS Export Document Submission Enhancement Information Notice . Beginning no later than August 24, 2024, this update will be available for testing in the Certification environment. The updated DIS XML schema will be posted as soon as possible and a CSMS will be sent when it is available.
