The initial phase of the process will consist of a 60-day application period, or "open season." Public comments are also invited. Public comments must be received by Close of Business on March 13, 2024. Applications to operate a CES must be received by Close of Business on April 12, 2024. Requests for applications and comments can be sent to: PortHuronCES2024@cbp.dhs.gov . Please refer to 19 C.F.R. §118 and CBP Directive No. 3270-007 for more information about CES’s.
