CSMS # 56734500 - Issue with ACE Currency Exchange Rates for Weekends and Holidays U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 06/23/2023 04:33 PM EDT Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS # 56734500 - Issue with ACE Currency Exchange Rates for Weekends and Holidays CBP is aware of an issue with the ACE Currency Exchange Rates Update in which trade users have not received currency exchange rates for weekends and holidays. We are working to resolve the issue and will advise when the fix is deployed. As a reminder, per 19 CFR 159.35: “The daily buying rate of foreign currency which is determined by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and certified to the Secretary of the Treasury in accordance with 31 U.S.C. 5151(e) shall be used for the conversion of foreign currency whenever a proclaimed rate or certified quarterly rate is not applicable under the provisions of §§159.33 and 159.34.
