Notice of affirmative preliminary CVD determination and alignment of the final CVD determination with the AD investigation of certain corrosion-resistant steel products from Mexico (C-201-864).

On 02/10/2025, Commerce published in the Federal Register its affirmative preliminary determination in the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of certain corrosion-resistant steel products from Mexico (subject merchandise) (90 FR 9226). Additionally, Commerce has aligned the deadline for the final determination in the CVD investigation with the deadline for the final determination in the companion antidumping duty investigation of the same merchandise, currently scheduled to be issued no later than 06/18/2025. 2. The merchandise covered by this investigation is described in message 4277403, dated 10/03/2024. 3. This proceeding has been assigned case number C-201-864. 4. Cash Deposits for the companies identified below. 4a. CBP shall suspend liquidation of subject merchandise entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after 02/10/2025 (the date of publication of the preliminary determination), and shall require, for such entries, a cash deposit equal to the percentages of entered value for the producers and/or exporters listed below. Accordingly, CBP is directed not to suspend liquidation of imports of shipments from this producer/exporter combination. Case Number: C-201-864-002 Merchandise exported by Galvasid S.A. de C.V. that is produced by any company other than Galvasid S.A. de C.V., and merchandise produced by Galvasid S.A. de C.V. that is exported by any company other than Galvasid S.A. de C.V. is not subject to this exclusion from suspension of liquidation. Such merchandise, entered or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after 02/10/2025, should be entered under case number C-201-864-000 and suspended at the all-others cash deposit rate. 5.
