CSMS #49037414 - Syntax Update: FDA Adding Optional Affirmations of Compliance to Animal Feed Processing Code U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 08/11/2021 09:44 AM EDT Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS #49037414 - Syntax Update: FDA Adding Optional Affirmations of Compliance to Animal Feed Processing Code FDA is adding the following optional Affirmations of Compliance (AoC) to Program Code FOO (Food)/Processing Code FEE (Animal Feed): AoC Code Description Syntax REG Drug (Firm) Registration Number 9N* VFD Veterinary Feed Directive Not Applicable/Indicator Only VFL Medicated Feed Mill License (MFL) 7X In addition the syntax for VFL will be changed to 7X for Program Code VME (Animal Drug or Device). *Note: The syntax for the Drug (Firm) Registration Number (REG) has been corrected. The REG for medicated feed is 9N. These changes were deployed in CERT on August 5, 2021. These changes are expected to be deployed in Production on September 18, 2021.
