CSMS #45195422 - Updated Draft Version of the Drawback CATAIR posted to CBP.gov U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 12/17/2020 12:13 PM EST Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS #45195422 - Updated Draft Version of the Drawback CATAIR posted to CBP.gov Please be advised that a DRAFT version of the Drawback/TFTEA Drawback Entry Summary Create/Resubmission has been updated to reflect the deployment of the United States, Mexico, and Canada (USMCA) Free Trade Agreement requirements for Drawback in ACE and other updates. Some of the changes include the following: · A new USMCA indicator · Added two new provision codes: o 76 – TFTEA 1313(b) USMCA Sugar MFG Exception and o 77 1313(j)(2) USMCA Exception · Added references to “USMCA” where applicable · For provision code 73, updated the word “exemption” to “exception” · Appendix C – Unit of Measure UOM for liters corrected from code “V” to “L” The changes will be deployed in the Certification (CERT) environment on January 14, 2021 and deployed to the Production (PROD) environment on March 13, 2021. The updated CATAIR will be posted under the “Drafts for Future Capabilities” tab which can be found at https://www.cbp.gov/trade/ace/catair.
