CSMS #45137386 - New Broker Permit Validation for Remote Location Filings (RLF) U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 12/11/2020 04:25 PM EST Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS #45137386 - New Broker Permit Validation for Remote Location Filings (RLF) Please be advised that the ABI Batch and Block Control CATAIR has been updated to include a new validation in ACE which will prevent brokers from participating in the Remote Location Filing (RLF) if they do not hold at least one active district permit and an active national permit. The new validation, “X44”, will produce the following error message: 'LOCAL PERMIT PORT NOT VALID' and was deployed in the Certification (CERT) environment on December 8, 2020. It will be deployed to the Production (PROD) environment on January 16, 2021. The updated CATAIR will be posted under the “Drafts for Future Capabilities” tab which can be found at https://www.cbp.gov/trade/ace/catair.
