CSMS #44197866 -REMINDER: Information on e214 Deployment in ACE—Scheduled for September 26, 2020 U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 09/24/2020 04:04 PM EDT Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS #44197866 -REMINDER: Information on e214 Deployment in ACE—Scheduled for September 26, 2020 The Modernized e214 Online Admission Process Phase 2, Release 2 will be deployed to production in the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) on September 26, 2020, with an outage window from September 26 at 8:00PM ET to September 27 at 4:00AM ET. Existing CATAIR version 2.07 will remain in effect until the beginning of the outage window, at which time the latest CATAIR version 3.0 will become effective. Any messages submitted with the old CATAIR format after September 26 at 8:00PM ET will be rejected and will need to be submitted under the new CATAIR format. This release updates the Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) admission process by eliminating or replacing older, inefficient processes. This release will have Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) impacts.
