On 09/24/2024, Commerce published in the Federal Register (89 FR 77819) its affirmative preliminary determination of sales at less than fair value and critical circumstances in the antidumping investigation of Melamine from Japan. 2. The products covered by this investigation are described in message 4071410, dated 03/11/2024. 3. Because Commerce determined that critical circumstances exist for imports of Melamine from Japan from the producer and exporter combination(s) or producers and/or exporters listed below, CBP shall suspend liquidation of all appropriate entries of product from country that are entered, or withdrawn from warehouse, for consumption on or after 06/26/2024 (90 days before publication of the preliminary determination) which is 90 days before the date of publication of the preliminary determination in the Federal Register. Effective 06/26/2024, for entries of product from country from the producer and exporter combination(s) or producer(s) and/or exporter(s) listed below, CBP shall require a cash deposit equal to the following dumping margins: Producer and/or Exporter: Mitsui Chemicals, Inc.
