On 04/15/2024, Commerce initiated a scope inquiry on whether eight models of vacuum and mop handles, mop heads, and mop trowels imported by Kaivac, Inc., (Kaivac) are covered by the scope of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on aluminum extrusions from the People's Republic of China (A-570-967, C-570-968). 2. Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of Kaivac's vacuum and mop handles, mop heads, and mop trowels that are already subject to the suspension of liquidation under the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on aluminum extrusions from the People's Republic of China at the cash deposit rate(s) in effect on the date of entry. Such entries should not be liquidated until specific liquidation instructions are issued. 3. In accordance with 19 CFR 351.225(l)(5), this instruction does not affect or otherwise limit CBP's independent authority to take any additional action with respect to the suspension of liquidation or related measures. 4.
