CSMS #42161008 - Specialty Sugar Period 6 Adjusted Quantity and Date U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 03/26/2020 11:11 AM EDT Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS #42161008 - Specialty Sugar Period 6 Adjusted Quantity and Date Due to a typographical error published in U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Federal Register Notice dated June 27, 2019 (84 FR 30691), the limit for Specialty Sugar Period 3 was processed for 55,000,000 kilograms instead of the intended 50,000,000 kilograms. To correct this quantity error, the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is reducing the limit of Specialty Sugar Period 5 to 30,000,000 kilograms, combining it with Specialty Sugar Period 4 ( 35,000,000 kilograms), to establish this Specialty Sugar Period 6 for 65,000,000 kilograms. Specialty Sugar Period 6 will open on March 30. 2020 at 12 noon Eastern Time (ET) via the normal sugar opening moment procedures .
