CSMS #40982153 - ACTION REQUIRED for sFTP connection users of ITDS sFTP Server - Server Migration 12/21/2019 U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 12/13/2019 02:08 PM EST Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS #40982153 - ACTION REQUIRED for sFTP connection users of ITDS sFTP Server - Server Migration 12/21/2019 This message is being sent to Trade/PGAs that have an sFTP connection with CBP ( NOTE: FDA B2B is not impacted ). CBP will be performing an urgent upgrade to the ITDS SFTP server on 12/21/2019 . There will be a 3 hour outage during our normal maintenance window from 10 pm to 4 AM. Technical POCs from all Trade/PGAs should be available during the maintenance window to verify that their connections are working on the new SFTP server A Bridge will be sent out to assist Trade/PGAs as needed and ensure that all connections are successfully reestablished. The bridge line will be supported on Monday morning (12/23/19) as well. The same credentials, folders and files will be seamlessly migrated to the new hardware After the upgrade is done, during the verification step, Trade/PGA’s will have to reconnect by accepting the new SSH key from their client machines once we cut over to the new server Check the box and click “OK” Benefits to doing this: More reliable hardware that is expected to significantly reduce downtime and connectivity issues.
