CSMS #40943374 - Information on Electronic 5106 Updates Filed via the TP Transaction U.S. Customs and Border Protection sent this bulletin at 12/10/2019 02:00 PM EST Cargo Systems Messaging Service CSMS # 40943374 - Information on Electronic 5106 Updates Filed via the TP Transaction U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is aware of an issue in which the self-filer relationship is removed from an importer’s account when an electronic update to the 5106 information is filed via the TP transaction and the self-filer’s filer code is not provided in the TG record. Until a fix is deployed, if you are a self-filer, please ensure that you provide your self-filer filer code in the TG record when submitting any updates to your 5106 via the TP transaction. Once a permanent fix is deployed, CBP will send out an additional CSMS message. Update your subscriptions, modify your password or e-mail address, or stop subscriptions at any time on your Subscriber Preferences Page . You will need to use your e-mail address to log in.
