1. On 6/21/2013, in response to a request by Meridian Products LLC (Meridian), Commerce issued a final scope determination that certain kitchen appliance door handles imported by Meridian are within the scope of the AD duty order on aluminum extrusions from the People's Republic of China (PRC) (A-570-967). 2. Because the imported product does not meet the exclusion for either finished merchandise or finished goods kits because they consist entirely of aluminum extrusions; further, the inclusion of fasteners does not exclude the kitchen appliance door handles from the scope, Commerce found that the merchandise is within the scope of the order. 3. Continue to suspend liquidation of entries of aluminum extrusions from the People's Republic of China (PRC), including certain kitchen appliance door handles imported by Meridian, as described above, subject to the AD duty order on aluminum extrusions from the People's Republic of China (PRC). 4.
